Electronic billing is the official method of billing at the University of Delaware. You will be notified in June through your Be a Blue Hen account when you are able to set up your UDel Net ID and will establish your own password to gain access to additional systems across campus. This login will be used to access your student information through the UDSIS system as well as important billing notifications and account activity.
In July 2009, the first bill of the 2009-2010 academic -year is generated for the Fall 2009 semester. You will receive an e-mail notification sent to your preferred e-mail address when your invoice is available. There is no paper bill generated. You must login at www.udel.edu/paybill to view your bills and account activity. Most students also want a parent or another authorized person to also receive bill notifications and have access to their financial account activity. This access must be granted by the students. If you do not take the opportunity to add an authorized bill, you will be the only person to receive e-mail notifications when a bill is available. Please follow these steps to grant access to your bill and account activity:
The fee payment deadline for the Fall semester is August 1, 2009. You must have your account financially cleared by that deadline to keep your account in good standing. You must complete one of the following options from your on-line bill to financially clear your account.
Any charges to your account made after the payment deadline, August 1, 2009, must be cleared at the time the charge is incurred to avoid late fees and placement on the installment plan. You can view up to date account activity and make additional payments by logging in at www.udel.edu/paybill.
